单纯购买bluehost主机是不必须身份验证的，如果我们需要开通SSH或者独立IP，以及开通免费赠送的域名。我们就需要身份验证。
假设没有验证就购买的话，会在付费之前的页面提示：Please verify your account by calling our verifications department at (888) 401-4678, option 4 before continuing.
不用理会这个提示，就可以做到verify your account，没有必要去打这个米国电话。
首先，如果你要开通以上的功能，你可以写信给bluehost官方邮箱：[email protected]邮箱；
其次，他们会告诉你需要身份验证，需要哪些资料发到指定的邮箱；
第三，我们根据提示，需要在验证邮件中包括以下几个内容；
1，身份证正面扫描件就可以了，最好在中文名字旁边注上拼音，有时候审核的用户多，老外不会拼音的话就不认识；
2、如果我们使用paypal付款的话，就需要用PAYPAL的邮箱发送这封邮件；
3，如果我们是用信用卡付款的话，需要把信用卡的单面也扫描过去；
4、需要在邮件中包括我们主机账户的邮箱，以及我们主机密码的后四位密码；以及我们主机的主域名；
以上几样大家核对一下，发送过去。如果不全，他们会给你继续要的。简单的，在1个工作日就可以审核完毕。
验证方式1.邮件验证：
在邮件内容里面包括你的域名，账号，密码（后4位），交易账号（paypal账号）等信息，然后附件里面包含你的身份证信息
（记住在身份证图片上面用拼音写上你的名字）；
然后发送到[email protected]（验证部门）；
一般24小时内会收到回复(双休日除外) 由于是邮件可能你要等待一段时间；
2. 提交ticket验证：

首先到这里（http://helpdesk.bluehost.com/index.php/contact）选择Verification部门（也就是最后一个）；
然后点击ok，就打开了一个新的ticket；

*Domain:（主账号域名）
Last 4 Characters of Password (not credit card):（cpanel面板登陆的后4位密码）
填写完好后，在Message里面添加ticket内容，内容和邮件相同（包括你的域名，账号，密码（后4位），交易账号（paypal账号）等信息），
在就是添加附件，在Attachments
点击浏览添加你的身份证图片（记住在身份证图片上面用拼音写上你的名字）；

然后在text里面输入验证码再点击send Message发送就可以了。
一般通过发ticket验证，验证通过比较快，大概在几个小时就收到验证通过邮件，快的几十分钟即可。
购买独立IP的流程如下：
（1）向 [email protected] 提交你的个人身份证明：驾照或者护照的扫描件，验证你在Bluehost的账户。身份证扫描件其实也可以，不过bluehost的回复邮件中没有提。同时不要忘记扫描件中要有你在bluehost登陆用的主域名。
（2）验证通过之后就可以通过cpanel的 [Dedicated IP] 标签页进行购买了。
申请IP验证账户的ticket范例如下：
